Let's say the offense performs the same or slightly better than it did down the stretch last year, but defense performs in the top 10-15 range that everyone is hoping / predicting and special teams, specifically punting and kickoff coverage improves as well.

If this kind of hypothetical comes to fruition, then it's certainly not out of the question to make the run to ATL that we are hoping for. Especially, when you consider the fact that the power teams we face are going to have a much tougher time wearing down our defensive front with all the talent, experience, and conditioning.

In the games we aren't supposed to win, just being in the thick of it in the 4th quarter gives us a good chance with Dobbs' competitive nature (well the whole team's competitiveness for that matter) and gamer mentality.

The games we should win but let slip away last year, we close them out this year riding our big nasties and improved speed in the secondary.

GBO!
