TO BE A TENNESSEE VOL! i am so lucky to have been born and raised in East TENNESSEE. this truly is GOD's country and GOD's people. from the mountains to the valley there truly is no other place i would rather call home. i have tried to move away from here on numerous opportunities, always thinking something else is what i was wanting. chicago, michigan, texas, florida, among a few others. they all lacked the qualities that make this home. family, the people, the very way of life. i missed it too much every time i left. its not just being here, its here being in you. you dont have to be born here for Tennessee to be your home. most people that move here for a while aquire the draw, not only in their speech but in their soul.
