"The way I look at it is, as long as I'm healthy and as long as I feel that I can do a good job, I want to keep doing it because I enjoy doing it," Saban said. I don't want to talk about anybody else, but there have been a couple of coaches where their legacy was tarnished by them maybe doing it longer than they should have. That won't be me."
Any guesses who that could be?
I know he isn't thinking of Butch Jones (emphasis for those that can't read) but if Jones would have left after the 2015 season, his life would be dramatically different right now. He wouldn't be working for free running errands for Nick Saban. And we would have been much better off. Anyone else would have taken the 2016 roster and won the East.
