I know nobody really gives a sh*t as to how I think but I'm gonna share it anyways. Was NSD a big disappointment? Absolutely. We whiffed on everybody we were hoping for basically so there is no changing that. However, as we saw with the recent Super Bowl teams, the vast majority were 3 stars or lower. Butch brought in the high ranked players, but I don't think they were coached up for the most part. Yeah there was Derek Barnett, Josh Dobbs, and a couple more, but they were not the norm. Now is when CJP needs to prove himself. Yes he is known as a recruiter, but he is also known for coaching players up. Stars don't matter when you slip into pads and put on your helmet. That's when coaching and heart starts deciding things. I still think our future is bright, and as far as NSD, just wait until next year, then we'll see just how good of a recruiter he is or isn't.
