I was wondering if Vereen has leg/ ankle injury that I missed. He looked like he was running in sand! I mean I was so shocked because I thought of him as a speed rusher last season and watching Bama game it was just sad..... he looked like a 350 pound lineman running around and constantly out of position on zone reeds?
It seemed like he almost had been taught to wait for play to come to him rather than attack mesh point and QB or RB would suck him up inside the run right by his end position never even needing to block him then I watched RT Hall get beat on every single snap until he was either injured or pulled. #68 Tatum held up well at RT!
I realize how Alabama makes everyone look bad and I'm not one to put anyone down just looking for answers. If you watch game you will see what has me bent!
