1- The SECN guys said Pruitt is protecting Bailey (and the young guys). But then in the 4th quarter with 7 mins to go down 2 scores it's not so important to protect him?
We really have a knack for not putting guys in a position to succeed. Our offense will run the ball on 1st down every time and put our QB in position for 2nd and long. We make our freshman QB throw his 1st pass on 4th and 4. Off the field the staff has to recruit. On the field, your job is to put your players in position to succeed. Can anyone honestly say that our coaches have done that this year? Have we played to anyone of our guys' strengths?
2- Don't tell me you thought the FG was too long for Cimaglia to knocked in 2 of them longer than that one tonight. I said earlier that under normal circumstances (with JG) I would have no problem going for it. The FG wasn't an automatic make. Getting a 2 point conversion is only a 50/50 shot. So the odds were against you to make a FG, score a TD and get a 2 pointer. But don't give me this crap about the FG being too long.
Our offense sucks. It's frustrating to watch all of these teams put guys in position to run with the ball, lots of grass in front of them, etc. I'm pissed at the entire coaching staff but I feel like Chaney has sucked the life out of our program.
