I think we got good news from Sapp this weekend, feel good about that. Wouldn't surprise me if we also got good news from Kelly either. Maybe reading too much into everything Brent The Oracle Hubbs does but he RTd Kelly which to me means something good. At the same time Love left Stanford and Lewis left UF without committing so we still have a shot with our top three RBs and they obviously want one.
I think Allen has told the coaches he's coming. And there seems to be growing smoke around Richmond whether or not we want to buy it.
Finally, we are very much in the mix for Prince Tega, who might not decide until after NSD.
Given all that, I think they decided that as much as they like Newsome his skill set is a)already on the roster and/or b) more easily found in 2016 than talents like those players above. I think it's good news for sure.
