A humble GoT Vol fan's letter to Cam:
Dear Cam,
We haven't met, hopefully we will on the Vol Walk one day, but I thought I'd drop you a line to let you know just how much you mean to me. Creepy, I know, but just give this a second. I was watching Game of Thrones this past Sunday and that lead to listening to audio books on the history of Westeros, and that lead to me thinking of my Vols, naturally. You see, before the show and the books, there's this whole history about this family called the Targaryens. They were the kings and queens of Westeros for a good minute because their founder, Aegon the Conquerer had three dragons. Three a$$ kickin, no names takin', fire breathin' hell bringers who whooped everybody that stood against them. Just like Dobbs, Hurd, and Kamara, all of whom are leaving this year.
In case you haven't watched or read as much GoT as I have, one of the things that's always at the forefront of GoT is that when opportunity knocks, you seize that ish and you seize it hard, like you likely wanted to seize Melisandre, well, before that last episode and still maybe after if she keeps the necklace on. I'm just sayin, I'd still do it. But I digress.
While watching GoT and listening to these audio book histories (well, youtube videos), I was thinking of the three Targaryen dragons and I thought of you, JG, and JK. Three brand new a$$ kickin, no names takin', fire breathin' mofos ready to kill it on Shields Watkins.
You, sir, are the Drogon to our Danaerys, and with JG and JK, Orange God willing, we'll be unstoppable. Like those dragon ridin' crazy mofos, we will destroy anyone in the SEC. You'll have all the room to fly you want (playing time and touches), and a Coach that'll depend on you every game (Danaerys, aka Butch). And most importantly, you got a whole big wide continent to set fire to and conquer (the SEC). Dragonstone (Neyland) is ready for you baby. It's our time; it's your time; it's three headed dragon a$$ kickin time. Be my Drogon, Cam, please...
