Due to my work and the kids sports and school schedules I have very little chance to watch CBB other than UT games so I am not really familiar with most of the coaches I hear and see mentioned as possible candidates. That said, looking at their bios, experience and records I have not found one that even makes me think we have a legitimate shot at hiring a coach that can turn the program around. But I have not seen their teams play nor develop and I am not a person who keeps up with up and coming coaches and that is what we will be hiring based on the $$ we are offering.
I doubt I am the only one, so for those that have the chance to see these candidates teams play and develop who actually excites you as a possible coach and why? This is not a trick question as I know very little about any of those mention other than the few from the last search. Just curious on the thoughts of those who actually have time to watch CBB. I will hang up and listen. Thanks
