This actually happened a couple of months ago, but I'm still so impressed, I thought I'd share about it here. I had bought an MSI laptop and a couple of months later the SSD died. Dreading the process, and I'd never had an MSI before, I called their number and the representative immediately told me just to send it back to them and walked me through registering the product for warranty service online. The whole call took less than 5 minutes.
So I asked him how long the process was going to take, and he said that after they received the laptop, it would take them up to 5 business days to process it, up to 30 more days to fix it, and then they would send it back via UPS ground shipping and it would arrive 5 to 7 days later. Alright.
So I shipped it UPS 2 day on a Monday, and then I went home and ordered a couple of pieces to see if I could repair my old laptop in the meantime. Wednesday, when I got home from work, I had the pieces that I'd ordered for my old laptop, and I decided to check MSI's website to see if they had logged receiving my laptop yet.
According to the website, MSI received my laptop at 1 pm, fixed it and shipped it by 2 day UPS at 4 pm. I got my laptop back on that Friday.
Never been more impressed by anyone's customer service. So if you are in the market for a new laptop, you could do worse than MSI.
