It took close to 2 weeks with a TWRA trap, but I got him last night.
Someone mentioned in a previous thread that it was illegal to shoot them in the cage....technically correct, but I've had a couple of people from TWRA tell me that they don't care if you do or not for an armadillo. I'm not b/c I don't want to have to clean the cage (it has a lot of feces and urine dried out in it to lure them in).
I noticed 2 days ago that our neighbor's yard was just torn up, so I just had a feeling he was heading back our way. I put a lot of grub killer out, so I think I ran him off before I put the trap out. Regardless, finally got that son of a gun.
