Preston a surprise

I declare, the last I posts I saw about Preston was that he was confined to running in straight lines but not cleared to do any cutting. Now, all of the sudden, he's playing Saturday. Did I miss something? Has anything been said about him being cleared for contact? Consider me puzzled.
