Not trying to ease the pain, but I have a close friend who lives in Tallahassee. His nephew plays for Brooks County in south Georgia and he saw the game versus Walker's high school. He told me a few weeks ago that Walker seemed a little awkward and Brooks County "ran all over him", even though Walker made some nice plays. He said one time Walker blitzed and was blown up by a running back and the student section was taunting him for it. I dismissed it since I thought Walker was a Vol, but now I like his view much better! His final thought was that Walker was very good, but didn't feel like an All-American or anything vastly ahead of the other top players on the field. Not sure if he is accurate, but he did play baseball at FSU (for the legendary Mike Martin), so at least he knows sports.
