I am a Plavsic hater. So tell me what do you and our staff see in him that makes you think he can be a solid SEC player?
You mentioned in the podcast Rick’s ability to develop guys like Pons. Well my god, his potential was obvious. So was Grant, Admiral, Bone, Alexander. I give Barnes credit but you could at least see it with these guys.
There is no potential with Plavsic imo. Big difference, Rob. The guy is just flat out slow in every part of his body and not fit for SEC basketball. Mark it down.
At 7’1” you don’t play 117 minutes your 2nd year in a college program and have ZERO blocks and only 15 rebounds and then turn into something. Those are categories you should fill up at 7’1”regardless how raw of a prospect you are. Especially when you add nothing else to the team and are a huge liability defensively. He doesn’t rebound well, he’s not a rim protector, he’s got awful footwork and touch around the basket and he’s flat out slow as a 2nd year player. I just don’t get what you see in him.
