Slam dunk contest?

This was the first time in about 8 years I watched the slam dunk contest, and is it just me or has the talent gone very down hill? I watch the home run derby every year and love it, but I watched the last 4 or 5 conetestants of the slam dunk contest this year and wondered what the heck was going on. I saw one guy tonight not make a dunk, and he still averaged about a 8 or 9 on his dunk. Is this for real?! Give me the Home Run Derby any year over the Slam Dunk Contest!
