* As noted in a different post, both Henderson and Burnam are OV'ing to IU this weekend. IMO you can pretty much scratch them off the Vol commitment list

* Ignot and Murphy continue to show out in AL-MS practices. From Barton:

Stock up for Will Ignont
Ever since transferring out of IMG Academy, there have been some questions in recruiting circles about Ignont. Was he overrated? Is he an early name that hasn't developed? After this week, I think Ignont is one of the top linebackers in the country. His film is on point, he's extremely sudden and active on defense, he has pass-rush instincts off the edge. Tennessee is getting Ignont and I think he could be bringing a linebacking presence that the defense needs. He's sniffing the Top100 in the rankings now.
Jordan Murphy could be special
We've bumped Murphy up to a high three-star with an 89 grade. He was the most fluid and natural wide receiver at the event outside of Ruggs. Nico Collins has a size advantage and Noah Igbonghene has verified track athleticism but I wouldn't be surprised if Murphy ends up being better than both because he's got great receiver instincts.

Not to say I told you so on Ignot, but it was pretty apparent in looking at his senior film that he was very much slimmed down and more explosive looking than even the video from the 5-star challenge and was back to being his badass self that got him ranked so highly as a younger prospect

* Someone else noted it elsewhere, but the QB McBride is flying from Memphis to Knoxville on Sunday for an UV after his Memphis State OV. Obviously if he wants to play real football in a real program and conference and stadium he'll sign with us, unless of course we hear something else from Hooker by then. He's an EE and we've told him he's got a Sunday night deadline to be the guy; if he's not ready then it will be first come first serve for the spot. Funny thing is I'm not sure how much leverage we really have considering we haven't locked an OV from Hooker and Thompson is too risky to go all in on even if he were ready to make a decision between us and OM

* From TOS on Theo Jackson at the TN East West game practics:

One player who wowed with his athleticism was Nashville Overton defensive back Theo Jackson. He’s a raw athlete with length at 6-foot-2. Jackson’s speed and quickness stood out. The Tennessee commit needs to polish his game at cornerback but his ceiling is through the roof.
