Driving home from the game this saturday I couldnt think about how awesome Tennessee Football is. My dad took me to a few games growing up and I loved every one of them regardless of the outcome. Saturday I took my son and daughter and they were blown away. Their eyes lit up when they ran through the T, they screamed when it was 3rd down, they clapped when we scored and when the fireworks went off.
We stopped by a tailgate in G10 and I saw some friends I havent seen in years. Those friends had their kids with them, some had their parents with them, and most had their significant other with them.
In the seats behind us were a father son combo who had been attending games together for 20 plus years. The dad used to drag the son to the games and now the son picks up his dad every saturday and drags him to the games.
In front of us were a married couple who have had season tickets for 30 plus years and rarley missed a game.
To the right of us was a former Ut walk on in the 90's with his family.
To the left of us two younger kids who were pouring whisky into there cokes and having a dam# good time.
Sure we were all disapointed when we heard Flordia won, but it didnt matter to most of us. All that mattered was Tennessee was playing football.
