Couple things I wondered about Saturday's game. I wasn't on the board much, but it was a tough loss. To me the difference in the game were JJ Frazier and 34% FG shooting (our team outside of Grant Williams).
As to Frazier, Turner and Bone are just horrible on defense. I wondered several times why they didn't go to Kwe Parker on Frazier. Frazier is a streaky player, and played really well, but he didn't even need the high pick much of the time. Turner is getting worse. Bone is a freshman and simply has to match the speed and intensity he has on offense to his defense. I think he will as he gets stronger.
That wouldn't have mattered if we could have made anything the second half other than Grant. Abysmal, and we were getting good shots.
On the really good side, we shot 80% from the line. Georgia is a good team and we took it to them. Just couldn't make shots. Gotta have an answer for Fox on Tuesday. Can't allow him freedom out there with the dribble drive.
