Without sports there really is very little that is interesting. I probably have 75 channels (stream Hulu Live) of various networks and there is nothing there. I would say 15 of them are sports related, so I give them a pass during this shutdown. The other networks should be embarrassed at the crap they put on.
History channel has centuries of stuff they could delve into, but instead they present guys tricking out motor homes and two idiots driving around the country buying old junk. Discovery and Nat Geo are usually just as bad. News channels just rinse and repeat. The major networks have been giving us garbage for multiple decades.
I have spent a lot of time on Netflix and HBO series of late and it seems Amazon has some pretty good stuff. Just haven't spent as much time with the television on as I have in the last month and this industry is producing trash.
