Played Bear Trace Harrison Bay and whoever the greenskeeper is made a major mistake. They are trying to work hard and recover the greens, but most of them have extremely large dead spots. #3 and #9 are the only two greens that are in good shape (because they redid both of those greens this year). When the starter says, "Good morning guys, we don't have a specific pin placement right now. We just put the flag where there was grass." You know it's going to be a very interesting day.
On a positive note, the fairways are in amazing shape and if you hit the ball in the rough, don't take your eye off of it or you'll lose it.
Hopefully they can get that course ready by the end of the month for the match play tournament, but I don't foresee all of the greens being fully recovered. @akavff you may be the only one on the board playing that event so here's a heads up.
