When was the last time this fanbase has been so fired up to kickoff the season? Let's be honest, love him or hate him in 2009 Kiffin fired up this fanbase but we didn't have the horses in the stable to compete with anybody big at the time. Fast forward 6 years later and we have some more chatter AND a better product on the field. I can't recall Volnation as a whole being so fired up before the season. Butch reminds so much of Pearl. He markets the program well and he puts butts in the seats. 90% of the time Neyland will and has always been full but the demand for tickets this season have been off the wall.
