We did a good job trying to shoot for these high rated recruits that we had no shot with under the previous staff. Fact is we are coming off an 0-8 SEC record and an embarrassing coaching search. In my opinion the Pruitt Era starts tomorrow the day after NSD. He did the best he could picking up the pieces. Now we have to work on getting better and he will have a whole year to seal the deal with the recruits. To bash him for bringing in and getting us in with the elite of the elite recruits and not being able to seal the deal in 2 months is just being naive and makes you sound dumb. Am I disappointed we didn't land some of the recruits yes but not sure any other coach we could have hired would have even got us in the conversation with these kids.
