have a long and proud basketball tradition. This team is truly a reflection of that. They are well coached, play unselfishly, seem to have lost any individual egos, and LISTEN and DO what coach asks of them. They are a reflection of the type coach he is. Where they will rank is still up in the air. That can only be decided after the season. I have watched the great teams under Mears going back to the 60's with Widby, Boerwinkle, Justice, England, Edwards and so on. I watched the great teams with Grunfield, King, Jackson, Ashworth, Darden etc. I watched Dale Ellis and Reggie Johnsons teams all the way to the present. The thing they have in common is there attitudes and their desire to bust their tails for there coach. Bruce had some mighty good seasons with some special players but the ones who put their egos aside and played hard like Lofton and Bradshaw and listened made those teams what they were. Coach Barnes has slowly molded a TEAM that has to make him very, very proud. They may not win the SEC but they are a lot of fun to watch because they know how to play the game. GBO!!!
