On offense, mine are:
- Kendrick: Has reportedly reached "next level", sort of like KK did. We will be fine at OT now, even if it takes Richmond part of the season to round into shape. Biggest concern on "O" mitigated IMO.
- Kelly: Great find by Butch/Welton. Kid is a badass who runs angry, moves the pile almost every time and I'm anxious to see him show the speed that has been reported. Really solidifies the RB group for this fall and reduces anxiety about 2017.
- Eli Wolf: Writing is on the wall, IMO...this kid will go on scholly fairly soon and will likely be quite a weapon by the 2017 season. Needs 20lb more.
On defense:
- Abernathy: Really needed someone to step up at safety and he has. Gives us athleticism back there we have lacked. This group looks good.
- Osborne: Already showing to be exactly what we thought/hoped he was.... Should give us outstanding secondary play for several years. Sure hope Warrior & Byrd can acclimate near as quickly.....
- Griffin: Was afraid he was going to get lost in the shuffle, but showing himself to be a player. Gives us the bigger body back there that is really nice, gives Shoop more flexibility.
