I have had a terrible experience. First, I've watched these guys "work" a few times when I don't think they knew and I gotta say, either they've truly figured out how to efficiently do their jobs or they just phoned it in.
Second, I loathe auto-renewal services. I mean, there's nothing worse than a company trying to basically steal $45 from a homeowner by allowing an extra application to accrue. What's more, I literally told them not to auto-renew and they did it anyway after saying they wouldn't which just pisses me off more. And while I didn't have to pay for it, I had to take time out of my day to call, which is annoying.
Finally, and the real kicker, marginal results with about as much care and attention to my lawn as my wife pays it -- which is nothing for the record.
Maybe others have had better experiences, but I got taken as a new homeowner trying to make my lawn respectable and presentable, and it really rustles the jimmies, boys. I'm issuing a "Caution" order for now, but if others have had similar bad experiences, we might go to full "Stay Away."
I'm also interested if everyone already knew this and I'm just an idiot, which is entirely possible here.
