As to Tennessee football, there are many, but my all time favorite was as a student. Four of us made the trip to Athens with about $250 between us. Didn’t think the Vols had a chance because UGA was loaded. They had Zeier at QB, Terrell Davis at rb, I think Garrison Hurst as well. We had Heath Shuler and they turned it over a million times. Probably not a game that’s really celebrated, but the UGA fans were such jackasses and no one gave us a chance. A close second was the Worlds Fair win over Bama. My dad and I hugged each other and cried while they tore down the goal posts.
