A pandemic hasn’t hit since 1918. In that time frame we’ve seen 2 World wars, a presidents assassination, the fall of the Berlin Wall, the birth of the technological age, and now everyone has streaming content constantly to our phones, TV’s, and computers. Life wasn’t perfect, but many of us seem to be trending in a positive direction. If nothing else there were reasons to smile on a daily basis.
Then one day you wake up, after some unknown guy in the Wuhan province of China decides bats are on the menu, and you realize that the good part of your life is over.
That might be a tad drastic, but we are all losing time in our lives that we will never get back. I’m not saying protest, go to war, overthrow governments, etc. I just want to point out how astonishing it is that one little insignificant thing like this can cause such a massive rift. I truly hope this ends as soon as possible, and we can salvage the rest of our time on earth. I think we can all agree on that, at least.
