Last year when the offense truly got rolling they played 3 WRs about 90% of the time which were Tillman, Velus and Payton.
This year we know Tillman and Bru are the outside guys. And if reports are true they are recruiting Jaylon Robinson, when they have known they had McCoy for months, that speaks volumes IMO. They clearly want another WR.
They are recruiting Robinson who will be a SR. I don't think you recruit a SR WR to come be a depth guy. They would have targeted a guy with multiple years to invest in if they wanted a depth guy.
I believe Hyatt has improved. But he was a non factor last year completely. Can he go from non factor to impact player? I think they view Robinson has a Velus type impact.
Could be wrong.
1) How many years does Robinson have left if he wanted to add a Covid year?
2) Are they all in on landing Robinson?
3) Feel free to share your thoughts on them targeting Robinson when they have known Bru was in the boat.
