I'm not saying it's a bad hire or that he's not an upgrade, but a logical person could ask the following questions about him:
1. If he's such an upgrade how was he not on someone's staff?
2. I keep hearing that he's an ACE recruiter but what evidence would you point to to substantiate this. I don't see coming in 2nd for LaBryan Ray as ACE recruiting.
3. What EXACTLY did he accomplish with our current players? I see some crediting him with Drew Richmond's development. Is this true and how did he do so since he's not supposed to be on the field coaching?
4. IYO, was hiring Wells the absolute best move that Butch could have made in this situation?
