Does Latroy Lewis not look extremely explosive-and a bit bigger than last year-in those videos. I know it is nothing more than some drill work on the first day of spring, but he looked very powerful and very quick. Any thoughts from you guys?
To that end. Would a scenario of Mixon and Lewis taking a major step forward this spring and summer result in Maggitt playing a decent bit more LB next year as compared to 2014?
If Lewis/Barnett 2015 could become 90% of what Maggitt/Barnett 2014 were, AND at the same time you could have a 2015 second level with both Maggitt and JRM on the field at the same time, and we are getting a little better at DT (which seems likely), then you really have got to like the prospects for that front 6/7. T
hat's a bunch of guys upfront, almost all of whom will all get shots at the NFL combined with some guys in the back end who can play man defense or support the run.
Gonna be solid if we can just get one or two guys to become playmakers instead of contributors.
