Great turn out today in Nashville, tons of talent on hand and lots of Tennessee targets.

Performance wise, Alabama commitment Jordan Davis looked to be in a class by himself as an edge rusher. He told us that he intends to visit Tennessee this summer and give the Vols a look, but that one may be hard to turn around.

Big Michael Thompson (No. 102 nationally) from St. Louis, who has a Tennessee offer, looked like the best interior defensive linemen in 1-on-1 work. He's a big powerful kid that was impressive. He said that he frequently hears from Brady Hoke.

D'andre Litaker and Greg Emerson both sat out the 1-on-1 work today and both those guys spent most of the day hanging around one another. Staying on the defensive line, Murfreesboro's Joe Anderson in the 2019 class is a guy that looks really good and is mentioning the Vols prominently. He's also someone that spoke highly of Hoke.

We heard the name Walt Wells a LOT from in-state guys today as the Vols' new assistant seems to be hitting the ground running. Charlton Warren is also a guy that seems to be making an impression on kids. New commitment Adonis Otey as well as Jaylon King.

On the under-the-radar front, one name to keep in mind going forward could be 2019 OL/DL
Chris Aproghene at Kings Academy in Seymour. He's 6-4, 270 and from Nigeria. He's been playing football for just one year, had never touched a weight prior to last summer and is raw as can be. He's also a physical specimen with some obvious gifts. Tennessee will be out to see him this week. He's claiming offers from West Virginia, Texas and South Carolina already.

Also it was clear that Tennessee's return to prominence at the NFL draft this weekend with six players selected. That was something that seemed to really get the attention of guys, and the fact that three of those were mid-state guys was something that was definitely noted by many of the guys we spoke to today.
