Talked with coach Scott at length today.

First off on the QBs, no surprise, doesn't see that competition ending anytime soon. Likes what he's seen out of both JG and QD this spring. Says the biggest thing he's looking for from both is leadership right now. Interestingly, he added that he totally agreed with the notion that a football team needs to know who its QB is but he also said that he wouldn't allow that belief to speed up the decision making process.

Called the offensive line the 'strength of his offensive unit' right now. Feels like they have cranked up the physicality there this spring and likes the attitude. Noted that when guys were healthy and back in action in the fall; like Kendrick, Thomas, Hall and Jones, he expects an ultra competitive environment on the offensive line with some good players ended up as reserves.

Lastly, LOVES what he's seen from young WRs Latrell Williams and Marquez Callaway. Called Williams one of the more pleasant surprises of the spring for what he's gotten done. Said that both guys had really made an impression and had made the most of their opportunities this spring.

He was also very complimentary of Jakob Johnson and the progress he's made at TE. Singled him out for some notable praise.
