as some of you all know, my son is currently battling leukemia. The fight is going well. One of the interesting parts of having a child with cancer is that they get a wish from the Make-A-Wish foundation. It is an awesome organization. I work with a guy that had leukemia when he was a kid and his wish was to be a ballboy for the Chicago Bulls so that he could meet Michael Jordan. This is back when Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman were on the team. He said before he went to the game that the Make-A-Wish representative told him that Michael Jordan gave strict orders that he was not to interact with him. Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman both Paid a ton of attention but Michael Jordan would not give him the time of day. He said he went from being the biggest Michael Jordan fan in the world to not really liking the guy anymore. I’ve heard that he is kind of a jerk but that blew my mind. When you see how the predators treat my son, you know how you’re supposed to act in that situation.
