has finished his HS requirements and will be enrolling at Oregon in Jan as an EE. I had no idea that he was even considering that and still thought he would end up at Michigan but apparently he is sticking with Oregon and will be in school there in 3+ weeks. Really good kid that I was hoping would end up in Knoxville but sounds like he's heading west.
Before all of the "slow white kid, wasn't an SEC player" crap all of our recruiting experts start spouting, I'm pretty sure Butch would take him in a heartbeat if he wanted in. Rutger is a solid young man and will be a huge asset to whatever program he suits up for. Kid really seems to want to get away for school so good for him.
