I woke up hoping it was a bad dream.

No it happened. My first thought was what was DeBord looking at last night? What did he see that made him call the most confusing offensive game, in my layman's mind, I have ever witnessed. Did we even try to stretch the field last night? If we did it was an anomaly. As far as the Defense, once they broke the plane of the line of scrimmage on a run play the sky was the limit. With the exception of a hand full of plays by the defensive backs there literally was very little resistance and Vanderbilt did what they wanted. This team has struggled ALL year, from game 1. Injuries haven't helped but the simple fact is this team and it's coaches have under preformed ALL year. No matter who they played it was the same result. Winning didn't come easy against Appy State or anybody else. Like quite a few others, I have very little faith in the trajectory of the program. Last year we ended strong and were starting to look like a team with a future. You actually had a product you could sell to recruits. This year it looks exactly the opposite. After last night if I was a highly touted recruit still looking at Tennessee, I would be reevaluting my offer lists.
