Buddy of mine is an obnoxious Clemson homer. Cheered for Notre Dame when Clemson wasn’t competing. That’s should tell you how much of a front runner he is. We were texting today and got on the subject of Ty Simpson. Mentioned he had been here 2 weeks in a row and when he walked out next to my wife and I after the Bama game he still seemed upbeat. According to him their mods are beginning to say Clemson will “move on” from Ty Simpson now that Ewers is back on the market. Their mods believe they are beginning to prefer him or Klubnik to Simpson now. I don’t have any screenshots but as obnoxious as he is, he is not a troll. If they have gone into “we don’t want him” mode then that’s a positive for us. They did the same thing over Crouch and this season he hyped up De’Shawn Rucker about how they wanted him so badly. As soon as he committed I got a “we didn’t want him” text. Just thought I would share.
