Is this a result of factions within top boosters?

Clearly, the Haslam‘s were partial to John Currie. Charlie Anderson and Thunder Thornton wanted Fulmer at the helm. Currie went rouge and made the decision easier while Gov Haslam’s hands were tied to be too partial to the fight. So the Fulmer faction flexed their muscles and put him in charge. That action aliened our biggest supporter. To win in this league, all The pistons must be firing at full capacity. A rift between our top supporters is a killer. The fan base has to continue to suffer from disfunction within the organization on almost every level. It prevents us from getting capable staff and prevents any staff from doing what it takes to get the talent here. It’s a nasty circle that we have to see every fall. I hate what everyone involved has done to this program. I would never say that I’m an insider. Just a lifelong fan and graduate from Knoxville that pays his taxes and supports the school that has given me so many great memories. Ive continued to pay for season tickets in football and basketball as well as what is for me a hefty sum in VASF dues. I’m disillusioned and angry and see no end in sight.
