You can be smaller, slower, less talented overall but you have to play to win and you have to try. It’s about attitude and effort. Simple.

I expect our team to TRY. Our coaches to TRY. There were no attempts at trying to win this game. I know bama is bama but we have to try. When we’re down 18 points before halftime and we get the ball on the 20 with 3 timeouts and 53 seconds...and we run the ball on first down? Do we want to win? Throw throw throw you have to TRY to cut the lead down before half. I guarantee you if Kiffin was in that position he’d be airing it out. We called plays to run down the clock so bama couldn’t have time to score again, Calling a run is essentially waving a white flag to bama and even worse your entire football team. That type of “little man” thinking is why we got rid of butch. It’s disgusting to see this come back into the program. I really like Pruitt but if he’s not gonna stick his chest out a little then what’s the point. And if you aren’t sold on your quarterbacks ability to throw then try the next best guy. It’s that simple
