It’s easy to over react after a loss. Tennessee isn’t as bad as they showed today and UK isn’t as good as they showed today. But it doesn’t matter because today they were the better team. But here are my questions:
1) Chaney had gotten good QB play everywhere he has been. He even made Nate Peterman look good for a season. Over the last two years the QB play has been inconsistent at best and atrocious at worst. What gives?
2) since the summer, the OL has been touted as the strongest unit and one of the best in the SEC. Why have they underachieved so badly (especially in the last two games)?
3) if Pruitt and Ansley are DB gurus why can’t the middle of the field be defended at all? If I were Mac Jones I would throw a slant every other down next week
Note** I’m not sure this offense will continue to play hard if JG is under center. He has committed 6 TOs in 4 quarters. These guys were totally deflated in the first half. He’s lost their trust.
