I find it is always best to sleep on it, watch it again, and then comment.

Defense
1 - Defense was in 4-2-5 starting the game, allowed a lot of inside runs. Their back is no slouch, has over 4000 career yards. We adjusted in the second half and brought more inside pressure - plus our depth and conditioning was better, which was evident in 4th qtr when they started all going down with cramps. More 4-3 in second half
2 - McDowell really played well in the absence of JRM. Glad we have him another year
3 - Overall the defense played well, they were not really able to do shit in the second half. First half we fumble a punt and give them great field position. The other TD was on a bad matchup in which we blitzed on one side, the RB went the other, and was covered by a DE (Vereen).
4 - Secondary played well. They couldn't do much passing the ball, but then that isn't their strong suit either. Sutton with some brilliant plays, including a game saver on the lay before last in regulation when he tackled the guy for a loss.

Offense
1 - Overall, a bad performance. I have said it before and will say it again, Dobbs is most effective when we run him 15 times a game. It was pretty obvious we were intentionally not running him in this game, maybe to not get him hurt. That makes our entire offense easy to defend, as the defense can key on the RB more. Dobbs is never going to be a drop back, throw it all over the place guy - but he can be an effective thrower if he is also utilized in the run game.
2 - Thought we did some good things to Preston Williams early and then stopped throwing to him. Malone made a couple of nice catches, and we need to use the TE slant more.
3 - Hurd looked about the same to me.
4 - Ball security sucked. We were REALLY lucky in this game to recover our own fumbles.
5 - Would have liked to see Kelly get a few touches. Need to use kamara more.
6 - I think the offensive game plan was vanilla on purpose, but maybe it shouldn't have been.

Special teams
1 - Bad fumble by Cam. Overall, punt returns were not good
2 - Punting was good, coverage sucked on the last one
3 - Berry did well with the one he actually could return.
4 - Medley looked good. AP state horrible placekicking was the difference in the game

It was an ugly win, but we're a better team than what we showed. Ap state was no slouch, and they shouldn't have been. They were 11-2 last year and won their bowl. Our game against VT will reveal much more about who we are as a team.
