Went to visit my elderly dad, who lives in a rural community with only a post office and a couple churches. Stopped to visit my mom's grave, who is buried in the community cemetery which is on a hillside overlooking the valley. Noticed several recent new graves of people with surnames that obviously didn't belong to the area. Talked to one of the locals that help with care taking of the cemetery and he said that since they have never charged for burial plots they are being overrun with no locals wanting to bury their family members since plots are free and that he was afraid they would eventually run out of land. (Sounds like immigration on a micro level.) I told him that the solution would be to charge for each plot. Though would seem unfair to people who have lived there all their lives.
