My son just got added to his Little League team for this year. Got a group text from the coach earlier today that basically says there's a new notification system for rainouts, etc. Says, 'To sign up text WinchesterLL to 84483.'

Finally, a parent stepped in and text them what you really have to do, step by step - got six of the crazy replies before the person with the step by step healed it up. I hope their kids are better athletes than their parents are texters. Ought to have to turn in their smartphones, imo.
I don't know who any of them are at this point - sort of thinking I might prefer to not know! I do sort of wish the do-gooder had let it run a while longer.
There's a fair chance I could be the oldest parent there, too (I'm 46). So, any assumption that the old folks are the problem is NG.
LOL, and damn. Not a big thing in the grand scheme of things, but surprising and funny nonetheless. Thought some of y'all might appreciate the humor.
