So about 3 summers ago I broke a bone in my foot (a small one around the ball underneath my big toe).
Doc said the bone healed fine and there are zero signs of a fracture, but this pain that's not quite as bad as when it was broke pain comes back every 2 or 3 months or so in the same area.
I went back to the doc in early March, got x-rays, still no signs of a fracture or bone issue.
Trying to figure out why this pain keeps coming back every so often and stays around for 4-5 days or so. It's a pain where I have a considerable limp and obviously cannot run and can barely walk.
Could it be arthritis? Gout? Need new/different running shoes?
I'm still fairly young and have never had arthritis issues. I've been wracking my brain the past 2 or 3 days or so trying to figure it out. Could it be gout from my diet? I don't eat very much fatty foods and I eat a lot of protein and drink a lot of milk.
Any thoughts? Could it just be that I need to change running shoes more frequently?
