For you guys that have children who have cell phones I have a question. Do you allow them to delete their text conversations or do you make them keep them on their phone so you can make sure what's going on? My nephew has been living with me since he was a baby and at 12 we just got him his first real phone (5c) for Christmas. I try not to be overbearing as a parent but I do make sure they are acting the right way and being respectful and not getting involved with the wrong people. He has been keeping all his texts deleted but I'm thinking about putting a stop to it. The deal when he got the phone was that it was an open book until further notice but at the same time he is an a student and has not given me reason to not believe in him. What say you?
