Running the Dime

I just don't understand how loosing two DBs can prohibit us from playing our dime coverage. Is it out of fear of loosing another DB since we would have 6 on the field at the same time? Or is it because they don't think that we have six DB's that are game ready at this point in time? I can count 7 or 8 DBs on our roster that I would be fine with having on the field and the same time. Again, I just don't understand the "Dime is out of the picture" comment made in the RT.
