Speaking of Cobb/Webb duo

What a combination that was, and how much more it could have been! It was actually never a duo for an entire season.

1989 - Started the season running all over people, and then Cobb got booted from the team before the Bama game. Of course we end up losing our only game of the year that year to Bama.

1990- More like the Tony Thompson year, as Webb got hurt in the second game of the year and never played as a Vol again. Cobb was playing in the NFL.

Had Cobb not been booted in 1989, and returned in 1990, and Webb not gotten hurt, we could have had 2 full years of Cobb-Webb
