Boys vs Girls. Boys overachieved somewhat. They did not start the year with final 4 talent and were young. Their primary issue was consistency. Sometimes they just did not have the bench to overcome slumps. The girls were very young. Overachieved early. Need serious development and coaching. They were either very hot or very cold. Yesterday they broke things wide open in the first quarter. Were great on both sides of the ball. Then in the second quarter OS went to a zone and we went almost a full quarter with out scoring. Ended the first half up by +2. Then we did not score for about 8 minutes into 3rd quarter. Could not make a shot. Crazy. Played hard but in the wrong direction. Turnovers and fouls. Holly could not find a way to break the zone. Loosing 3 players and bringing in 4 highly rated players. One is that top post player in the nation. Hope she can hit a layup.
