Why don’t we see this anymore?

Hell, why dont we try this? (Anyone not following football back then - Shut ya mouth)

It was 70% run, but they ran it every conceivable way. Power I, Stong I, Weak I, Regular I. Shotgun, Flexbone, Singleback Two Tight, Singleack Three Tight, Overload, etc. On and on and on...

Every play set up another.

The Option was a threat out of all of them. But they’d bust you up the gut with a real FB if you played the perimeter.

The QB wasnt a dual threat... The guy was a running back. When they threw it, it was a surprise and it was a one read play...

Obviously we cant do it this year.

but damn, I’d rather try that than hope we land “Trevor Lawrence” or die trying.

I’m just an old chunk of coal... idk...

seems like the proper way to build a fledgling program.

Bill Snyder Style.

I awlays though he was the poor mans Tom Osborne.

Is there anyone left out there like that? Offensively? Seems like that would complement Pruitts expertises.
